Maurice took part in Sporobole’s Chantier IA Sound Practices cohort in Sherbrooke from 28 April to 24 October 2025, with Amélie Laurence Fortin and Estelle Schorpp. The residency sat inside Sporobole’s generative-AI cycle within ArtIA and supported research and prototypes rather than finished works. Maurice used the residency to develop settler-native-slave.

settler-native-slave is a long-term research-creation project on Black and Indigenous resistance to algorithmic oppression, through embodied sonic agents and generative digital fabrication.
