Soundscapes of an Earthly Community

Soundscapes of an Earthly Community premiered at UKAI Projects’ Carnival of Algorithmic Culture in Toronto, 23–24 June 2023, at bodyshop studios. Maurice also gave a keynote on Sonic Assemblages and Trajectories of Refusal in the Carnival’s conference programme on 23 June at Artscape Daniels Launchpad.

Soundscapes of an Earthly Community is a spatial sound performance responding to Achille Mbembe’s call to reenvision more-than-human relations through the in-common.
