Soundscapes of an Earthly Community

Soundscapes of an Earthly Community was presented at Festival Art Souterrain 2026, 25 April–10 May, at Place Ville Marie, Montréal. The 20-minute quadraphonic generative-sound performance lists Maurice as human performer, The Sonic Agents as non-human performers, and Portrait XO on piano.

Soundscapes of an Earthly Community is a spatial sound performance responding to Achille Mbembe’s call to reenvision more-than-human relations through the in-common.
