Maurice presented Black Indigenous Machine Agencies: On Haunting and Dreaming at the Abundant Intelligences Symposium: Resistance, Creativity and Futurities, Western University, 10 October 2025. The talk reported preliminary findings from the Abundant Intelligences–funded project on relationships between Indigenous and Black knowledge systems and machine agencies.

feral.ai is a research-creation project that imagines Black Machine Agencies turned feral. Relating to the Maroons of the Great Dismal Swamp, the embodied agent of Black techné was released into the swamps surrounding Ferme Lanthorne in Southern Québec.
